Yoga Gently

A restorative, flowing class which gently mobilises the body and quietens the mind. Suitable for students of any age and experience who wish to practise gently and fully unwind.

 

Vinyasa Flow 

An uplifting, deep, slow flowing class uniting breath and movement exploring areas of tension to deeply relax mind, body and soul. Vinyasa is a Sanskrit word that means ‘to place in a special way’ and is a style of yoga characterised by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. The breath is the central focus around which everything else flows. Considered a ‘moving meditation,’ Vinyasa is about harmony and balance, grace and fluidity. We move and notice how we are moving and what moves us. 

 

Vinyasa & QiGong

This slow flowing class blends Vinyasa yoga with elements of Qigong. Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise and healing technique that combines movement, mental concentration and breathing to increase and balance your vital energy, or ‘Qi’. Pronounced ‘chee-gong’, it loosely translates as ‘vital energy cultivation.’ Through slow, gentle movements the body is warmed, improving circulation. The practice helps manage stress and negative states of mind by balancing Qi resulting in improved wellbeing and inner tranquillity. With its focus on nature, it brings a welcome vibrancy and inspiration to city life.
